Chocolate Raspberry Filled Cake Recipe

1 box devils food cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare
4 cups Cool Whip, slightly thawed
2 tablespoons raspberry preserves
Bake cake according to package directions. When cake is cooled, cut into 2 layers. Mix together 2 cups cool whip with the raspberry preserves.
Place bottom layer of cake on plate or cake stand. Spread half of the cool whip mixture on top. Top with remaining cake layer. Spread remaining cool whip on top. Decorate as desired.
